It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alan Heltzel of Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lt. Colonel Alan S. Heltzel and Helen O. Heltzel. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Jonas Heltzel (Shelley); his children, Jonathan (Courtney) of Winterville, NC and Katie of Greenville, NC; his siblings, Susan Estes of Richmond, VA and Greg Weiss; his sister-in-law Janet Jonas of Sunset Beach, NC; and his cousin Chip Calhoun. He is also survived by niece and numerous nephews and cousins.
