J. Hunter; and her sisters-in-law, Sally Hunter and Kay Hunter.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jack Hunter (Janet) of Morehead City and Jeannette Diebert (Glen) of Stedman, NC; her daughters, Myra Wray Miller (Terry) of Newport and Jennifer Hardesty Garner (John) of Mill Creek; her grandchildren, Crystal Johnson of Newport, Mary Tompkins (Tim) of Hubert and Turner Miller (Callie) of Arizona; and her great grandchildren, Deanna Johnson, Emma Johnson, Gracie Foster, Addison Tompkins and Malcolm David Miller. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reece's Chapel Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the Bayview Cemetery.
