He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn Salter; and his brother Gary Salter. He is survived by: his children, Scott Salter (Christina) of Straits, NC, Adam Salter (Ashley) of Greenville, NC and Allison Warren of Beaufort; his siblings, Terry Bruce (Walt) of Tracy, CA, Barbara Day of Stacy, NC and Anthony Salter (Laura) of Sea Level, NC; and his grandchildren, Carolina Salter, Parker Salter and Myles Salter.
