He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Greyson; his pet Ivy; his parents, Gwen and Harold (Patti); his siblings, Clay of Beaufort, Mike (Amy), Mark of Timberlake and Mary Margaret of Beaufort; his grandparents, Clyde and Nancy Ward of Beaufort; his uncles, Lonnie Ward (Anna) of Morehead, Sheldon Ward (Renee) of Raleigh, Lee Krikorian of Boston and David Smith of Bettie; his nephews, Wayne, TJ, Eli of Beaufort and David of Durham; his niece Ashton (Stone) of Zebulon; his grandparents, Clayton and Ruth Knudsen; his uncles, Victor and Richard Smith; his cousin Shannon Dawn Smith; and his caregiver Maggie Race.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Woodville Baptist Church (450 US-70, Beaufort, NC 28516). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at the Arthur Family Cemetery.
