She was predeceased by: her husband John David Benders; and her great grandchildren, Vincent Davis Jr., Daniel Crooms and Courtney Crooms. She is survived by: her children, Willie Davis of Morehead City, Roy Davis, Lillie Davis, Vincent Davis and Shelia Pritchard; her grandchildren, Roy Davis Jr. of Winston Salem and Demeatric Davis Marjorie Davis of Winston Salem; and her children, Morgan Davis Jr. of Mississippi, Derrick Crooms of Atlanta, Johnathan Davis of Georgia and Whitney Davis of Greensboro. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church (890 Merrimon Rd, Beaufort, NC 28516).
