He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Wade and Martha Wade; his siblings, Daisy Sokolosky and Logan Whitehurst; and his son-in-law Timothy Gillikin.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Wade; his daughters, Adrienne Gillikin and Sharon Williams; and his granddaughters, Christine Payne and Danielle Williams. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the North River Methodist Church Cemetery (2494 US-70, Beaufort, NC 28516).
