With sadness, we share the passing of Freddie Alton Spence (Beaufort, North Carolina). Freddie, born on June 13, 1943, passed away on July 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Horace Spence and Elsie Green Spence; his siblings, Gloria E. Riggs and Jerry E. Spence; his son-in-law Glenn Moss Tillman; and his grandson Mark Daniel Hancock.
He is survived by: his wife Bridgitte Harritshoj Spence; his daughters, Tina Maria Spence Tillman and Susanne "Susie" Cecelia Spence; and his grandchildren, Craig Louis Hancock (Lindi), Ellen Tillman Turnage (Jeremy) and Glenn Moss Tillman II (Jessy). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
