He is survived by: his sons, Chad Mason (Marisa) of Beaufort, NC and Gene C. Mason Jr. of Beaufort, NC; his grandson Tyler Clayton Mason (Justine); his great grandchild Conley; and his siblings, Mildred Beacham, Linda Davis, Cathryn Baca, Shirley Mason, Joyce Gaskill, Paula Howington, Jimmy Mason, Michael Mason, Gordie Mason, Perry Mason and Phillip Mason.
