She is survived by: her husband Richard "Math" Chaplain Jr. of Beaufort; her daughter Rachel Chaplain of Beaufort; her pets, Cooper and Wrigley; her brother Larry Brown (Suzy) of Beaufort; her nieces, Tonya Shepherd (Rick) of Havelock and Stephanie Silva (Marc) of Mrytle Beach, SC; her nephew John Brown (Rachel) of Annapolis, MD; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan, Maddie, Lorenzo, Ethan, Corbin and Sailor.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Oceanview Cemetery.
