He is survived by: his wife Nancy Denton; his sons, Dean Owen (Katherine Mills Owen) of Greenville, NC and Bruce Owen, Jr. (Jeff Lepis) of Seattle, WA; his grandson Blake Owen of Greenville, NC; and his brother John Owen II (Mary Etta Owen) of Baltimore, MD..
