He is survived by: his children, Mike Sowers Jr., Brian Sowers, Paul Sowers, David Sowers, Julia Sowers and Cynthia Perkins; his close friend Cynthia Bradshaw; his siblings, Marsha Pruitt, Phil Sowers and Patti Lupton; and his grandchildren, Alivia Deoliveira, Poppy Bryant, Olivia Perkins, Brianna Kimbrell and Logan Perkins.
