He is survived by: his children, Melody "Poogie" Wooten of Beaufort, NC and Riley "Bubbers" Wooten of Beaufort, NC; his mother Karen Brooks; his stepfather Donny Brooks of Beaufort, NC; his sister Angelia Robinson (Luther) of Down East, NC; his granddaughter Coraline "Blookie" Wooten; his nephews, Donovan Johnson (Melissa Sanderlin) and Jonathan "Doobie" Sanderlin; his friend Timmy Guy; and his former wives, Katherine Perry and Holly Clingan.
