She is survived by: her siblings, Michael Anderson Mason (Jan) of Wilmington, NC and Nancy Mason Moore of Newport, NC; her children, Frederick Earl Smith Jr. (Donna) of Wake Forest, NC and Paula Gaye Smith (James Miller Jr) of Beaufort, NC.; her grandchildren, Kelly Smith Stanly (Garrett) of Louisburg, NC, Jacob Paul Sewell (Emily) of Morehead City, NC, Tracie Smith MacKenna of Arnold, MD, Stephanie Branch Offenberger (Ryan) of Durham, NC and Erika Paulyne Branch of Boone, NC; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Vivien, Zoey, Jeffrey, Tyler, Elliott and Dylan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
