He is survived by: his father Jackson Shores; his wife Joan Robertson Shores; his son Andrew Shores (Rebecca); his grandchildren, John Henry and Greta; his daughter Lucy Kosturko (Pete); his grandchildren, Ann Alden, Betty and Wilson; his siblings, Jack Shores Jr., Lynne Killion (Chris) and David Shores (Beth); and his close friend Wyatt.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marlin Room at the Beaufort Hotel (2440 Lennoxville Rd, Beaufort, NC 28516).
