She was predeceased by: her parents, Cedric Short and Helen Short; her husband C. Robert Lloyd; her former husband Richard Carter Funai; her daughter Jean Funai Nalley (Donnie); her brother Thomas E. Short; and her brother-in-law Arthur Dell'Aria.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Funai Page (Hoke) of Newport, NC and Richard Carter Funai Jr. (Kelly) of Wilmington, NC; her stepchildren, Susan Lynn Lloyd of Newport, NC and Robert Lowell Lloyd of Newport, NC; her daughter-in-law Penny Funai of Wilmington, NC; her sister Barbara S. Dell'Aria of South Boston, VA; her sister-in-law Brenda Short of Virginia; her grandchildren, Austin Ray Nalley, Sailor Elizabeth Funai (Josh) and Ana Shelvey Page; her great grandchild Mason Banks McFann; and her pets, Tiger and Meow.
