She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Taylor and Eva Taylor; the father of her children David Fletcher Noe Sr.; her grandparents, Everett, Estella Lawrence, James and Mary Catherine Taylor; and her pet Drake.

She is survived by: her husband Greg Scadden of Beaufort; her children, Taylor Lewis (Chris) of Salter Path and David Fletcher Noe Jr. (Lexi Pippin); her sister Jennifer Taylor (James Rhue); and her stepson Lucas Scadden (Gracie Ellington) of Beaufort, NC. She is also survived by many special friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and all her chickens, and dogs.

In her passing, Sylvia gave the ultimate gift of life through organ donation, saving two lives and leaving a legacy of compassion and generosity.
