He was predeceased by: his parents, Major Wilson Foster and Mamie Allena Wilkins Foster; his wife Betty Jean Asby Foster; his son Carl Wilson Foster, Jr. (Emily); his siblings, Bobby, Ottis, Willie Foster and Peggy Fulford; his daughter-in-law Vicky Foster; his grandchildren, Heather Freelove Sawyer (Toby) and William Major Foster, Jr.; his great grandchild Declan Merritt; and his pet Snoopy.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Foster Lott (Peabody) and William Major Foster; his sisters, Myra Faye Sullivan and Miriam Guthrie; and his grandchildren, Carl Willie Lott (Hannah), Jesse Lott (Becky), Stephen Foster, Jeremy Lott, Carla McArthur (Rick), Rebecca NeeSmith (Kolby), Wilson Foster (Beth), Betty "Rae-Ann" Foster and Cameron Merritt. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
