She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Morgan Cleary and Julia Catherine Foreman Cleary; her husband Nelson Wallace; her siblings, Johnnie Cleary, Jr., Mattie Ratcliff and Louise Davis; and her grandson Aaron Spencer.
She is survived by: her children, Nelson Wallace, Jr. (Michelle) of Plymouth and Cathy Wallace of Belhaven; her brothers, James Cleary (Connie) of Belhaven and William Cleary (Retha) of Bath; her grandchildren, Michael Spencer, Jr. of Belhaven, Paige Wallace of Washington and Hayley Campbell (Charlie) of Eure; and her great grandchildren, Henry and Hunter Campbell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Hope Church of Christ (146 Swamp Rd, Pantego, NC 27860). A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Belhaven Community Cemetery (1009 W Main St, Belhaven, NC 27810).
