She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Calvin Edwards and Lillian Guthrie Edwards; her husband Shelton Williams; and her brother Charles Calvin "Skipper" Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Tony Williams (Lisa) of Belhaven and Sabra Askew of Greenville; her grandchildren, Shaye Kalmowitz (Todd), Drew Williams and Grayson Askew; her stepgrandchildren, Emily Armstrong, Austin Armstrong (Jordan) and Joshua Spruill, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Marshall, Mitchell and Madison; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Haylee, Lillie, Allie, Maxwell and Brady Beau; her sister Janice Carlene Styons (Raymond) of Winston-Salem; her brother-in-law David Lassiter; and her sidekicks, Abigail and Dino. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Belhaven Fire Department, Trinity Methodist Church or to a charity of your choice.
