He is survived by: his parents, Jimmy Austin and Myra Austin; his wife Tami Calvert Austin; his sons, Cal Austin and Dylan Rome; his sisters, Tammy (Jeffrey Smoak) and Amy (Neil Brown); his mother-in-law Linda Penley (Buddy) of Belmont; his grandfather Ken Byrum of Indian Trail; and his nieces, Ariel Hurley, Ashton and Megan Wise.
