He is survived by : his wife Maria Upton; his former life partner Blanche Upton; and his children, Cynthia Upton Mull, Remona Gudeman, Isabel Upton Tonsing (Michael Tonsing), Frank Upton (Terresa H. Upton), Ted A. Upton and Aaron Upton. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
