It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beverly Jane Dixon Karr of Belmont, North Carolina, born in Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Dixon and Sarah Dixon; and her mother-in-law Becky Karr. She is survived by: her husband John Karr; her children, Kayla Karr and Kendall Karr (Emily Dixon); her sisters, Donna Bowman (Clark) and Ashley Dixon; her nephew Donnie Bowman; her niece Celeste Bowman; and her father-in-law Robert Karr.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Belmont (807 S Point Rd, Belmont, NC 28012). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Belmont music department.
