He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Maxie and Linda Alverson. He is survived by: his parents, Mickey Smith and Shannon Alverson of Lowell, NC; his siblings, Shane, Bradley Pasour of Mount Holly, NC and Gypsy Smith of Belmont, NC; his nephew Waylon Pasour of Mount Holly, NC; his grandparents, Dave, Jo Smith of Great Bend, KS, Paul, Becky Sack of Rye, CO, Matthew and Faith Clarke of Taylorsville, NC.; and also Gina Smith of Belmont, NC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the City Church (3100 City Church St, Gastonia, NC 28056). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
