He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis X. Hackett and Mary Smith Hackett; and his brother Francis X. Hackett, Jr.. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Nancy Hackett; his siblings, Mary Ann Giannuzzi (Joseph), Patricia Lehecka (late James), Virginia Suttle (Ralph), Jane Olver (William), Kathleen McEwan (Craig), Brian Hackett (Jeanne) and Scott Gillies (Ellen); Michael Hackett (Sandy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
