With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Cope of Belmont, North Carolina, who passed away on September 6, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Hugh Calvin Bishop; her husband Harold James Cope; and her siblings, Troy Calvin Bishop, Ted Lewis Bishop, Joe Franklin Bishop and Betty Bishop Hollifield.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Harold Cope and Steven Brian Cope; her siblings, Jerry Keith Bishop (Shirley), Tonda Bishop Mathis (John), Charles Lee Bishop and Sylvia Bishop Hellard; her grandson Lucas Michael Cope; her niece Debbie Matz; and her caregiver Bunnie Felton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Belmont Foursquare Church.
