She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Herbert Mullins and Rosa Lee Sutphin Mullins; her grandparents, Arthur, Lucille Mullins, Russell D. Sutphin and Hallie Mae Reece Sutphin; her uncles, Ersell Alderman, Ernest Waddell and William Glendon Sutphin (Ellen Sanford Sutphin); her aunt Patty Mae Sutphin Gibbs (Robert Edward Gibbs); and her close friend Josie.

She is survived by : her aunts, Gloeda Gay Sutphin Alderman of Dublin, VA, Shelbie Marie Marenka (George) of Lanham, Maryland, Carol Wood Atkinson of Montgomery County, VA and Brenda Mullins Waddell of Kentucky; her close friend Paula Dean; her stepdaughter Lisa Mountjoy; and her stepgrandson Jeremy Ingraham (Birdie Purdy). She is also survived by numerous friends and cousins.
