He was predeceased by: his father John William Hollis. He is survived by: his children, Jason Hollis (Abby) of Lincolnton, Carol Stillwell (Doug) of Andrews, NC and Rebecca Slayton (Matt) of Lincolnton; his wife Rhonda Hollis of Iron Station; his grandchildren, John, Daniel Hollis, Caleb, Sawyer Stillwell, Luke, Rhett and Sullivan Slayton; and his siblings, Jewel Nixon of Mt. Holly, David Hollis of Lincolnton and Terry Hollis of Dallas, NC..
