He was predeceased by: his siblings, Vernon Skidmore (Sue), Terry Skidmore (Diane), Janice Skidmore Carpenter (Calvin) and Starlene Skidmore. He is survived by: his wife Candy Crawley Skidmore; his children, Trina Michelle Skidmore of Belmont, Stephen Skidmore (Crystal) of Lincolnton, Tim Skidmore of Belmont, Constance Skidmore Malone (Shaun) of Lincolnton, Dwight Skidmore II and Hayden Ng; and his brother Jim Skidmore (Mary Ann) of Gastonia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
