She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Henry Watts and Hazel Lenora Watts; her granddaughter Carli Alyssa Watts; and her sisters, Catherine Rogers and Demples Waters.

She is survived by: her children, Brittany Watts (Cody Harmon) and Carl Travis Watts; her nephews, Joe Franckewitz (Carly), Jamie Franckewitz, Brian Moore (Ellen), Ricky Moore (Sandy) and Scott Moore; her niece Tabatha Watts; and her siblings, Geraldine Watts and Marty Watts.
