He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leonard and Sarah Gloyd Leonard; and his brothers, Joseph, Kevin, William, Michael and Stephen Leonard.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas (Kathryn Leonard) and Grant (Hayley Leonard); his granddaughters, Cara and Katelyn Leonard; and his siblings, Timothy Leonard, Sarah Adams, Maureen Thomas and Karen Leonard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
