He was predeceased by: his parents, Vicki Diann Wilson and Harry Gene Shope. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Reese Shope; his children, Charles James "CJ" Shope and Morgan Tyler Barber; his grandchildren, Maddox Gray Farmer, Mason Reese Farmer, Bristol Kate Barber, Lillian Christine Shope and Waylon Brody Barber; his sisters, Donna Hayes and Tina Tackett; and his pet Jeter. He is also survived by his family, his friends.
Flowers are welcome, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to The American Diabetes Association and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
