He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clarence (Alma Huffstetler Pendleton) and Butch; his wife Sue; and his siblings, Gene, Bonnie, Doris and Lois.
He is survived by: his sons, Jimmy Pendleton (Nanette Featherstone) and Scott Pendleton (Stephanie); and his grandsons, Tyler and Max Pendleton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor his memory are encouraged to make a donation to the VA Health and Wellness Program of North Carolina.
