It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Vaughn Witcher of Belmont, North Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest T. Witcher and Azalee Vaughn Witcher; and his sister Betty Branch. He is survived by : his daughter Lynn Witcher of Gastonia; and his sister Sharyn Carpenter of High Point, NC..

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Belmont (515 N Central Ave, Belmont, NC 28012). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors - Bumgardner Chapel (515 N Central Ave, Belmont, NC 28012).
