John Franklin Laughlin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Franklin Laughlin of Belmont, North Carolina, who passed away on May 24, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Laughlin; his former wife Thelma Laughlin; his son David Laughlin; and his siblings, Dorothy Chandler and Jack Laughlin.
He is survived by: his wife Mamie; his daughters, Kay Carpenter (Ken) of Mount Holly, Debbie Jones (Marty) of Belmont and Joyce Laughlin of Mount Holly; and his grandsons, Brian Carpenter (Jennifer), Brent Carpenter (Alyssa), Michael Laughlin, Danny Laughlin and Alan Pearson. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren.
