She is survived by: her children, Dr. Angela Rasheed (Abdullah) and Michael Henderson (Lauren); her grandchildren, Mohammed, Sara, Ayden, Ansley and Bexleigh; and her siblings, Dr. John Carpenter, Joseph Daniel Carpenter (Dan), David Christopher Carpenter (Chris) and Sherry Walker. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
