She was predeceased by: her parents, Selina Smith Ferriter and John Russell Ferriter; and her former husband Lawrence "Skip" Marsden of High Point, NC.. She is survived by: her brother John Ferriter of Orlando, FL; her children, Jessi Clarkson of Belmont, NC, Graham Marsden of Denver, CO and Patrick Campbell of Freiburg, Germany; her grandchildren, Bailey of Belmont, Jasmine of Belmont and Ava of Belmont; her nephews, John Ferriter of Rockledge, FL and Jim Ferriter of Palm Coast, FL.; her pets, Prissy, Mickey, Sweetie Pie and Gordy; and also Gary Campbell of Greensboro, NC.
Memorial Giving: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and to the Daniel Stowe Conservancy in Belmont, NC—two organizations that reflect Maggie's lifelong passions and values.
