She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Baird Sr. and Marianne Troja Baird. She is survived by: her sister Mercy; her daughter Maria; and her siblings, Marianne Brennan, Frank Baird, Dorothy Simms, Louis Baird, Regina Duff, Angela Morton and Virginia Petr. She is also survived by her extended family, including 35 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Convent - Cardinal Gibbons Memorial Chapel (103 Mercy Dr, Belmont, NC 28012). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
