In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Michael had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Michael may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Harvey and Nancy Pettus Harvey; his siblings, Dennis Harvey and Selma Harvey; and his grandparents, Nobie Pettus and Jess Harvey.
He is survived by: his wife Michele Harvey; his sons, Derek Harvey and Matthew Harvey; and his sisters, Carolyn Nalley (Jimmy) and Terry Gamble. He is also survived by numerous cousins and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Chapel. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1462 Armstrong Ford Rd, Belmont, NC 28012).
