With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nelda Smith Wilson (Belmont, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward B. Smith, Sr. and Gertrude A. Smith; her husband Carson H. Wilson; and her siblings, Edward B. Smith, Jr., Ralph E. Smith and Margaret Hawkins.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Wilson of Belmont and David Wilson (Kimberly) of Wake Forest, N. C.; and her grandchildren, Adam Wilson of Garner, N. C. and Amber Wilson of Apex, N. C..
