She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Earl Carpenter and Mary Alice Rogers; her sons, Adrian and Brett Clancy; and her sister Karen Carpenter.
She is survived by: her husband Chuck Clancy of Gastonia; her daughter Dana (Benji); her siblings, Mike Carpenter of Charlotte, NC and Christy Carpenter Hayes of Myrtle Beach, NC.; and her grandsons, Ben (Cary) and Jacob Turner.
