We are sad to announce that, on September 21, 2025, at the age of 91, Shirley Grace Barbee Causby of Belmont, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Barbee and Mae Hinson Barbee. She is survived by: her son Greg Cline of Belmont. She is also survived by friends, nieces, nephews, stepchildren and grandchildren.
