We are sad to announce that, on May 15, 2022, at the age of 81, Verda Alice Powell (Belmont, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arville Bryson and Lucy Holland Bryson; and her husband Ralph David Powell. She is survived by: her daughter Stacy Allison Powell; her siblings, Marlene Wray (Mike) and Charlie Bryson (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Amber, Robbie Amerson and Julie Sayers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
