He is survived by: his children, Martha Ann Baker (Joe Rash) of Elizabeth City, NC and Douglas Craig Baker, Jr. (Susan) of Belvidere, NC; his grandchildren, James Baker and Mary Grace Baker; and his siblings, Marilyn Whiteside of McLean, VA, Wallace Baker, Jr. (Lois) of Clayton, NC, Donald W. Baker of Elizabeth City, NC and Christopher Baker (Deborah) of Garner, NC..
