With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Edwards of Belville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 6, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Paul Edwards and Ruby Lee Brogden Edwards; his sisters, Anne Carlton of Moultrie and Connie Miller of Snow Hill, N. C; and his niece Leigh Lane Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Edwards; his children, Kent Edwards (Amanda) of Kinston, N. C., Matt Edwards (Savannah) of Leland, N. C., Brad Koonce (Wendy) of Leland, N. C., Garry Beam of New Bloomfield and Bobbi Conrad (Allen) of Newport; and his brothers, Joe Edwards (Linda) of Matthews, N. C. and Bob Edwards (Lynn) of Florida. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
