She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lambert and Leta Lambert; her husband Edward Maness; her son Perry Maness; her daughter-in-law Martha; her brothers, Marvin (Carole Lambert) and Farrell (Ellen Lambert); and her sister-in-law Margaret Maness.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward Allen Maness (Helen) of Robbins and Shannon Clay Maness of Sanford; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Almond of Asheboro, Frances Boone of Cowpens, SC and Harrison Maness of Asheboro. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Betty to Beulah Baptist Church, 8454 Howard Mill Rd. Bennett, NC 27208.
