He is survived by: his wife Virginia Upchurch Hill; his daughters, Becky Loflin (Ennis) and Pam King (Pete); his grandchildren, Jody Maness (Tonya), Matt Loflin (Aprille), Jacob Maness (Leslie) and Jessica Phillips (Clay); and his great grandchildren, McKinley, Sophie, Gracie, Kaylee, Maxwell, Merritt, Worthington, Emma, Molly, Jack and Sam.
The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Joyce-Brady Chapel (3833 Chatham St, Bennett, NC 27208). Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the High Falls Christian Church (1159 NC-22, Bennett, NC 27208). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
