He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hutchins Prater; his sons, Jeffery Prater (Marsha) of Franklinville, Andrew Prater (Jelissa) of Bennett and Daniel Prater (Gina) of Bennett; his sister Kay Hunt (Roger) of Grundy; his grandchildren, Dylan, Madison, Haylie, Liam and Lana; and his great grandchild Niklaus (Mycala McClanahan).
