She was predeceased by : her parents, Hubert Franklin Creason and Mary Emily Cartner Creason (Polly); her husband James C. Caviness (JC); and her brothers, Rev. James Claude Creason, Guilford Baptist Church, Rev. Buel Creason, Goldston Baptist Church and Charles Donald Creason.

She is survived by : her children, James Keith Caviness (Pat) of New Hill, Joel Caviness (Bonnie) of Bennett and Karen Caviness Mann (Len) of Graham; her grandchildren, Lauren Rizzuto (Jason) of Pennsylvania, Trent Caviness (Brittany), Tristan Mann (Paige) of Graham, Virginia Caviness of Charlotte and Lee Mann of Graham; and her great grandchildren, William Rizzuto, Matthew Rizzuto, Chloe Caviness and Adriana Mann.
