He is survived by: his wife Kathy Brooks; his sons, James Ronnie Brooks, Jr. and Ricky Dean Brooks (Dana) of Siler City; his brother Micky Lynn Brooks, Sr. (JoAnne) of Asheboro; and his grandchildren, Madison Lynn Brooks and Destiny Michelle Brooks.
