It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Carl Currin of Bennett, North Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Currin and Selma Flowers Currin; and his siblings, Linda Bennett, Nancy Parker and Allen Currin.
He is survived by: his wife Mae Upchurch Currin; his children, Teresa Biggs (David Welch) of Bennett and Wesley Currin (Shanna Jarrett) of White Lake; his siblings, Audrey McCullen of Warsaw and Bobby Currin (Betty) of Benson; his grandchildren, Michael Biggs of Bennett and Samantha Pittman of Grantville; and his great grandchild Kyliegh Collins.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joyce-Brady Chapel (3833 Chatham St, Bennett, NC 27208). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bennett Baptist Church (68 Bonlee Rd, Bennett, NC 27208).
